Final paper

Final Research Paper
My name is ZiLi fu, and I’m major in Criminal Justices. My dreams are becoming a Police Officer or have a position in government’s field. The New York City Police Department (NYPD), established in 1845, is currently the largest police force in the United States, with primary responsibilities in law enforcement and investigation within the five boroughs of New York City. The NYPD was the first police department established in the United States. It has its headquarters in Lower Manhattan, New York City, also known as “One Police Plaza”.
The first step an individual takes towards becoming a police officer is to take a written Civil Service examination. The Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) administers these exams. DCAS is responsible for the actual administration of the exam as well as the compilation of the list of names of individuals who pass the exam. DCAS then provides the New York City Police Department with the list of eligible. The Applicant Processing Division then begins the selection process. There are sire more steps of becoming a NYPD police officer after you pass the civil test: Medical Exam Character Prescreening, Character Investigation, Written Psychological, Oral Psychological, Job Standard Test and Pre-Hire Interview. Unfortunately if you fail any area will be disqualifying.
The stating salary of a Patrol officer is 43,062, which is the basic salary, (overtime ect. are excluded) However after five years with double it up to 90,829. It is easy for a patrol officer to make over 100,000 a year with overtime.

He doesn’t have to work a day in his life now, because the rents from his commercial buildings are 350,000 every month! So he told to be buy mortgages and rent it!
